Your Favorites list is personal, it is not shown to other household members.

The list is synchronized, so if you join your household from two devices you will see your favs on both.

If you have bought the product that is beyond its peak freshness, or prior to ripeness, you can custom add a shorter or longer expiry date period.
For every custom added item or cooked dish, CozZo suggests you an optimal shelf-life, but you can change it according to your discretion and depending it you plan to freeze it or not.

CozZo has product library that has been developed in collaboration with chef experts, which assigns optimal expiry dates to all products that are listed in our autocomplete list.

CozZo also suggest the best storage place for those items. We are now working to expand the database even further, beyond the current 1500 items.

We’re not able to get the name for:
• some supermarket brand products
• newly released products
• some local products
• packaged produce

CozZo searches for names in barcode databases with more than half-billion products but there are over 2 billion barcodes in the world. You are able to specify a name to any scanned product and CozZo will remember it for future scans.

The barcode scanning feature is only available with “Household Account” subscription, and if it is locked, you’re currently using CozZo free account. To activate the barcode feature, chose one of our subscription plans.

“Household Account” subscription unlocks many additional features – real-time synchronization of all present, to be bought and used up products among all joined members, adding pictures to products, cloud backup.

Google sign-in sets up your user profile and allows you to get our free “food management at home” course.  To get your products, inventory, and shopping lists synched in real-time on multiple devices and managed between the different user’s profiles, you need to upgrade to CozZo cloud, which is included in our “Household Account” plans.

With CozZo Household Account you can track the contents of multiple fridges/pantries and create multiple shopping lists. This allows you to track multiple locations (downtown apartment, suburbs house, summer house) and plan the shopping separately. The only limitation is that you won’t be able to create two groups of user-profiles and restrict the visibility of your Spaces / Lists to them.

Each month we select new recipes that are simple and quick to cook. CozZo matches them to your inventory and shows the ones that have more than 30% of their ingredients in stock.

AllRecipes.com and CookPad.com websites provide an easy and free way to build a personal digital collection of your recipe ideas. Once you have them entered, your Household Account plan allows you to add those sites to “My Sites” list and import recipes from them.

To discover recipes from Google, YouTube and top cooking websites (requires Household Account) you need to select items from “At Home”.
Tap on the colored bullets to activate selection mode and pick the ingredients you want to use.
Now, tap on the “cooking pot” icon, found in the top navigation bar to open the Recipe Finder. Tap on a website to see recipes that can be cooked with selected ingredients.

You can import recipes to CozZo with “Save From Web” button (“My Recipes” page) and from Recipe Finder (requires Household Account). Safari browser will open a recipe website for browsing. Navigate a page with recipe details (ingredients, instructions, etc) and use the browser “Share” button. Use “Save Recipe to CozZo” action to add one or several recipes at once.

Yes, our receipt reader can extract this information but we’re not showing it yet. We’re working on a new report that will display your monthly grocery spendings.

To give usage permissions to other members of your household account, navigate to CozZo “Household” screen and tap on the user’s name. Set “Read Receipt” switch to ON.

CozZo receipt reader(or scanner) is best suited for adding your large weekly/monthly shopping. For the most efficient use, first, take photos of all receipts from your shops and then process them in one go.

Other members of your household can also help by taking photos – CozZo will save them to all devices. Finally, you need a single reader use to process all photos.

Yes, buy giving you an overview of your last purchase of a particular item. You will know when you bought the product, what was the exact quantity and how long you used it, and what part of it you actually consumed. Based on this info, you can adjust nake adjustments in your purchase and buy only as much as you really need, and so minimize chances of potential food waste.

First, you just need to be aware of how much money per month you spent on food provision before using CozZo. For each food, you enter to your “At Home” inventory, make sure you prudently mark if the particular item was ‘Used up’ or ‘Uneaten’.

In a month, you will have a precise report of the % of the food that was consumed vs. wasted. If your household spends 800 USD on food per month, and 20% of the bought food ends up uneaten (US / UK household of four throws between 20-30%), you are binning approx 160 USD in the form of food waste per month.

CozZo users report a 50-70% reduction of food waste within a 3 months period. This means you’ll be saving between 80-120 EUR per month taken the spendings quoted above. This is actual money saved, as the first immediate result of using CozZo is dramatically reducing the pattern of buying excess food.

• Invite to Household email

Unsubscribing from one of those (ex. new user one) would prevent us from sending the others, including the Household Manager Welcome email, which contaings important information, needed for users that upgrade to CozZo Household Account. 

CozZo shows the total number of items in your public and personal shopping lists as an icon badge. Other apps use the icon badge for notifications, with CozZo this is not the case.

CozZo currently supports 1 picture per item. If you wish to associate more than one brand with you product description, take a picture of all items together. We will introduce multiple pictures per product.

CozZo product library remembers all custom products, added to your inventory or shopping list.

When you type letters in Add screen’s Search box, the autocomplete list will show your custom-named products.

Use your camera to take a new picture which when added to the product info will overwrite the current one.

Frequently and Recently Added lists are automatically created and updated by CozZo.

We add or push a product Up in Frequently added when it is repeatedly added to your inventory or shopping list.

Recently Added list shows products added in the last 3 months.

CozZo product categories are complex structures that provide data for automatic categorization, shelf-life suggestions, and unit list filtering.

Because of that, new categories are added by app developers when there is a demand. Edits to existing category names will be introduced in the next releases.

Yes, they are. Items that are crossed off with “Bought” button are automatically sent to the ‘At Home’ list. You can repurchase any product in your inventory with the quick add or “Buy More” buttons.

We automatically remove products from your shopping list if they are added directly to inventory. When a product is added to inventory, we check if it exists already and you have an option of setting the old product as ‘Used Up’.

This is a free feature we are currently working on and it will be available in version 2.1. You will be able to name your shopping list according to the store or shopping purpose.

Products in CozZo shopping list are ordered by category and product name. Our categories are arranged to match a typical grocery store layout, but there is no guarantee that it will match the store that you’re shopping in.

We’re open to suggestions for improvements in CozZo shopping list display, please reach out with your ideas.

You don’t have to as you can directly add items to your inventory through the CozZo Add screen or through barcode scanner, available for “Household Account” users.
We do believe (and practice confirms) that this form of shopping organization make people’s lives easier.

Products can be moved between Unsorted and other Shopping Lists by making a selection (tap on category-colored bullets) and running Move action from top-right *** menu option.

To clear all items from the inventory and/or shopping list:, tap on item bullets and use item selection box on top to select all items in “At Home” and “To Buy”. By applying “Remove” all selected items will be deleted.

‘Last Use’ bar shows the quantity bought, the length of time the product was in your inventory and how much of it was eaten. This helps you to adjust the newly bought quantity, so as to avoid unnecessary food waste.

You can cross off the items from your ‘to buy’ list that have not been purchase for your ‘at home’ use (but for the office, your relatives, as a gift, etc.) by swiping left and deleting them from your list with the ‘x’.

You can export some or all items in “At Home” or in a particular Space. First, tap on the color-coded bullets to select the items or use the “select all” button(top left). Then, tap on the *** button (top right) and use “Export”. CozZo will generate a .CSV file that can be downloded, send to other apps or printed.

To Edit or Delete any items, moved to the Kitchen Counter you need to switch to the “All Items” view, using the “Items” top button. This view lists all items – stored in the kitchen counter, public spaces, and personal spaces and allows you to perform all actions on them.

Products can be moved between Spaces by making a selection (tap on category-colored bullets) and running Move action from top-right *** menu option.

If you want to unpack/open/unfreeze and move a selected quantity(units, kg, lt) of an item to your fridge you need to select the product(by tapping on the category-colored bullets) and tap on the “Unpack” button on the top(the one looking like 4 stacked boxes). Use “Take”, “Add to” and “Update expiry” controls to perform all changes.  Use the same button if you want to freeze some quantity.

“At Home” and “To Buy” screens support two view modes: a full list of all stocked/for purchase products and Spaces/Lists view. To switch between those views, exit the Space or List if you have opened one and use segment buttons on the top of  “At Home” and “To Buy” screens.

To clear all items from the inventory and/or shopping list:, tap on item bullets and use item selection box on top to select all items in “At Home” and “To Buy”. By applying “Remove” all selected items will be deleted.

Only about 2 minutes with our quick starts flashcard wizard! It takes you through 60 basic products that you are likely to have at home. Swipe left to add them to your fridge and pantry list*(At Home), swipe right to add to your shopping list (To Buy).

Swipe down if you are not using this item. You can later build a more detailed list either through our CozZo library of 1,500 food and supplies or through barcode scanning. Items that are crossed off your shopping list are automatically sent to the ‘At Home’ list.

If you’re repurchasing a product that has some of it left in your digital inventory you need to add the new purchase as a new item. That way, CozZo will keep track of the new and the old product expiry dates. You don’t need to change the product name and the new item can have a different quantity than the old one. When adding the new item CozZo will ask you if you wish to remove the old one as “Used Up”.

Please add the item to your inventory as a new one. Pick an expiry date in the past if it has already expired. When the item is truly used up, use the “Remove” button – that way it won’t be added again to your Journal.

Tap on the add button and type the name of the dish you have cooked in the search box. Our library will suggest you dish names.
If the dish name is in our library, you can tap on it and change the category to ‘Home Cooked’, and them custom define the number of portions, storage place and suitable expiry date.
If the name of the dish is not in the category, you can custom add it to your library and set it as ‘Favourite’ for fast future references.

If you want to repurchase the product, swipe left to quickly add the product in ‘to buy’, or tap on it and use “Buy More” to set the quantity for your next shopping.
Swipe to right and CozZo will set the product as “Used up” and it will be removed from your inventory. You can see a monthly report of all Used Up product in Journal screen.
If the product has been added to your inventory by mistake, swipe to left and remove it with the gray X button.
